Notice Accounts

A range of corporate deposit accounts with a variety of different notice periods

An Investec Notice Account allows you to access your company's cash without losing a favourable rate of interest. Notice Accounts have no annual fees or charges.

Why a Notice Account could be right for your company

Your company would like to maximise the interest return on its deposited cash but needs the flexibility of accessing funds after a specific notice period. Investec’s range of deposit accounts provide a variety of notice periods that pay a premium over their comparable fixed term deposit rates.

Benefits

  • No need to instruct Investec to roll-over the deposited funds
  • No fees or charges, including no charge for funds returned via CHAPS
  • No maximum deposit

Considerations

  • The relevant notice periods must be adhered to in order to access the deposited funds
  • The minimum deposit for Investec Notice Accounts is £250,000 or the currency equivalent
  • Interest rate will fall if there is a decline in the relevant Central Bank base rate
  • Early withdrawals are subject to consent and may incur a penalty equivalent to loss of interest

Interest and Statements

  • Interest is calculated daily on the cleared balance in the account using the prevailing interest rate
  • The initial interest rate on the account will be agreed with you and will be reviewed after a relevant Central Bank interest rate decision and at the end of each month.
  • Interest on the account is capitalised on a monthly basis
  • A statement of the account will be issued monthly
  • Account cannot be used to make third party payments. All funds must be received from and returned to an account in the company’s own name
