Meet the Team

Kevin Allen

Location: St Helier, Jersey

As well as driving the bank’s business in Jersey, Kevin is responsible for a team that originates, structures and executes property finance transactions for all Channel Islands clients.

Kevin joined Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Ltd (IBCI) in Jersey in 2008 having previously spent nearly 25 years with the RBS Group, both onshore and offshore, in various corporate and real estate finance roles. Most recently he was Head of Portfolios in the Offshore Real Estate Finance team of RBS International Ltd.

Kevin is a director of IBCI as well as being an Associate Member of The Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT), an Associate Member of The Institute of Financial Services (ACIB), a member of the Institute of Directors and a member of the Association of Property Bankers.

Carl Bonnevier

Location: St Helier, Jersey

Carl joined the Intermediary Banking team at Investec in January 2010 where he is responsible for delivering Cash Management, Lending and Wealth Management solutions to the Trust and Fiduciary market based here in Jersey.

Prior to this he worked for RBS International where he started his career with Coutts & Co in 2001 before moving into relationship management within RBS. He then moved into regulated sales at RBS where he became investment qualified and worked with private clients as a Wealth Manager.

Simon Brown

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Simon is responsible for the Bank’s offshore based private clients primarily in Guernsey and Jersey with a focus on all sectors of the property market.

Based in the Guernsey office Simon joined Investec in 2006 having previously worked within Corporate Banking at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Allied Irish Bank.

James Cooper

Relationship Manager

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

James joined Investec in 2009 as a Relationship Manager in the Private Client Services Team and is now part of the Lending team in Guernsey.

Prior to this he worked for Nerine Trust Company as a Fund administrator having joined them as a Trust administrator.

Brian Edwards

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Brian’s primary focus is on managing the trust and intermediary lending portfolio in the Channel Islands.

Brian joined Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Ltd in 2007 as part of the Structured Property Finance team in Guernsey. Prior to this he worked at Anglo Irish Bank from 2004 and in the Manchester region for NatWest/RBS from 1987, during which time he completed Banking and Financial Planning qualifications.

Mark Forster

Location: St Helier, Jersey

Mark is responsible for delivering Cash Management, Lending and Wealth Management solutions to the Trust and Fiduciary market based here in Jersey.

Mark has 24 years of experience in the financial services sector and joins Investec from ABN Amro Bank NV in Jersey, where he was Head of Client Treasury Services.

Tracey Gardner

Relationship Manager

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Tracey is responsible for delivering a high quality personal service and provides cash management, lending and wealth management solutions to a portfolio of local and international private clients.

Tracey joined Investec in the Private Client Services Team in 2005 as a Relationship Manager. Previous to this Tracey was a Relationship Manager at HSBC for over 15 years.

Stephen Henry

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Steve joined Investec in 1996 as Finance Director before becoming Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for the operations of the bank, including finance, operations and IT.

Steve was appointed CEO in August 2009 and his primary responsibility are to ensure that the bank achieves its strategic objectives and adheres to all regulatory and risk management obligations.

Steve is a qualified accountant and a chartered director.

Marc Krombach

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Marc joined Investec in 2005 as a liquidity raiser before being appointed Head of Treasury in November 2009. He is responsible for Investec Bank’s asset and liability management in the Channel Islands.

Marc has 23 years experience in Guernsey’s finance industry and holds the ACI Diploma from the International Dealers Association.

Nick Leale

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Nick is responsible for the Bank’s offshore based trust and fiduciary clients primarily in Guernsey and Jersey, with a focus on all sectors of the property market.

Nick was a project manager for Barclays Offshore before he joined Investec in the Channel Islands in 2000. He transferred to the London office in 2002, becoming responsible for treasury and deposit solutions, before returning to Guernsey and helping to establish the Offshore Lending Team in 2005.

Anna Malcolm

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.

Anna joined Investec in 1997, originally in the compliance department of the bank in London.

After three years working in Investec’s London office, Anna moved to Guernsey in 2001 to work in our Private Client Division.

Anna is responsible for the delivery of our private client service and leads a team of five who manage client relationships and provide a high quality client experience.

Christina Merrien

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Christina joined Investec in July 2008 to assist with the development and implementation of Investec’s online banking platform to our financial intermediary clients.

Prior to joining Investec Christina worked for the RBS Group for 29 years working initially in Retail Banking then spent some years with their International Division before moving to Guernsey in 1989 where she headed up their Electronic Banking Services team.

Christina is responsible for Client Services and Operations particularly in regard to change management, process improvement and online development.

Dom Michon

Location: St Helier, Jersey

Dom is responsible for delivering Cash Management, Lending and Wealth Management solutions to the Trust and Fiduciary market based here in Jersey.

Lisa Norman

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Lisa has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector prior to joining Investec Bank in 2008 from Barclays Wealth where she was responsible for the Guernsey Financial Intermediaries Team.

Lisa heads Investec’s Guernsey Financial Intermediaries Team, which provides banking solutions to the intermediary sector with particular specialist focus on the fiduciary, fund and captive insurance businesses.

Lisa is responsible for delivering Cash Management, Lending and Wealth Management solutions to the Trust and Fiduciary market based in Guernsey.

Kay Parnwell

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Kay joined Investec in January 2012 to lead our Private Clients Division.

Prior to this Kay spent 35 years working for Barclays Wealth where she gained extensive experience in developing Business particularly in the High Net Worth arena.

Kay’s role at Investec will be to drive success in the Bank’s target Private Client’s sectors through Client acquisition and the promotion of Investec’s full range of services.

Laura Preston

Relationship Manager

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Laura joint Investec in 2004 originally in the Private Client Services Team as a Relationship Manager before moving to a Business Development Role for individual investors in the Channel Islands.

Laura has over 10 years experience in the banking sector and holds the Diploma in Financial Services Management and has recently gained the Diploma in Chartered Institute of Marketing with Investec.

Mark Renouf

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Mark joined Investec in 2010 as part of the Guernsey Distribution team having previously spent over 2 years working for a Guernsey based Trust company where he looked after a portfolio of property orientated clients and overseeing their lending requirements and Banking needs.

Prior to this Mark spent 25 years working for the RBS Group undertaking a variety of roles, the last 10 years of which was in Corporate Finance.

Mark is responsible for delivering Cash Management, Lending and Wealth Management solutions to the Trust and Fiduciary market based in Guernsey.

Peter Roberts

Relationship Manager

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Peter is responsible for delivering a high quality personal service and provides cash management, lending and wealth management solutions to a portfolio of local and international private clients.

Peter joined Investec in 2006 as a Relationship Manager within the Private Client Services Team. Prior to this he worked for 5 years as a senior Fund Administrator / Relationship Manager with BISYS Fund Services.

Tony Robinson

Formerly running the treasury back-office operation for Chase Manhattan Bank, Guernsey, Tony joined Investec as a result of the acquisition of Guinness Mahon Bank in 1998.

A qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Tony brings 25 years offshore banking experience to the Private Client Services specialisation with a particular emphasis towards UK resident but not domiciled individuals.

Liz Tanguy

Location: St Peter Port, Guernsey

Liz joined the Financial Intermediaries Team at Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited in 2008 having previously gained wide experience in a number of banking and investment client facing roles over a total of 20 years in the financial services industry.

Liz’s prime focus in previous roles has been to provide integrated and complementary banking, credit and investment solutions to private, corporate and intermediary clients including private client and pension trustees and fund managers

Liz is responsible for delivering Cash Management, Lending and Wealth Management solutions to the Trust and Fiduciary market based here in Guernsey.
