As the first event of the season the Investec Derby Festival is no ordinary event. It has heritage and matches our values - we see dedication and skill, energy and entrepreneurial flair, passion and progress all in a single event.
Investec celebrates the can-do spirit, sheer determination and the true grit that produces winners. Success is part of our culture and the Investec Derby Festival is the race that jockeys want to win. With high fashion and high stakes the Investec Derby Festival is more than a race, it's a cultural event.
Investec have committed to sponsor this prestigious event until 2021. Make sure you join us this racing season when it promises to be even bigger as we celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
In 2010 Investec and Epsom commissioned sculptor Charlie Langton in association with Asprey to create the perpetual trophy for the Investec Derby. This outstanding sculpture is set to become an icon in its own right and we are proud to have a strong association with it.

Investec played host to some famous names on the racing circuit as well as top supermodel Erin O'Connor, the Official Face of the Investec Derby, on Investec Ladies Day. Guests cheered on filly Dancing Rain, who won the Investec Oaks, trained by William Haggas.
Erin wore a bespoke hat designed by official milliner Louis Mariette and a unique dress created by up and coming British fashion designer Felicity Brown, both of whom were also in attendance and who lent their expertise to judge the "Style On The Downs" competition, which honours the best dressed lady.
Saturday 4 June saw over 150,000 people joining members of The British Royal Family for Investec Derby Day, making it Britain's most attended day of sport in 2011.
Her Majesty The Queen, Prince William and his new bride Kate, Prince Harry and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie watched on as French runner Pour Moi claimed victory over the Queen's hotly tipped horse, Carlton House in the day's main race. Bernard Kantor presented the coveted Investec Derby Trophy.
The average audience for the Investec Derby Day on BBC1 was 1.56m, with a peak for the race itself of 3.72m (a third of all in-home TV viewers at that time).
I am immensely proud to be involved in such a visual spectacle. I love the all-inclusive nature of the event which sees every walk of life involved. I see no reason why style and sport cannot co-exist in harmony. I have been very fortunate to be involved in the design of the dress which Felicity Brown made and I have no doubt that the hat Louis Mariette created beautifully enhanced the sense of occasion on Investec Ladies Day
